Sunset in Colorado

I miss you so, you'll never know, how much I really yearn
that you're not really gone, and that you will return.
Now all I have are memories to remind me everyday,
of what your presence meant to me, in each and every way.
You were my best friend, and I your daughter,
telling secrets, sharing laughs, spending time with each other.
I wish there was that special phone, so I could make a call.
Or that heaven could just slip a bit, so you could see us all.
Not one single day goes by, that I don't need you here,
So I could just give hugs to you, and quiet all my fear.
I know that you are watching me as I write these plea's to you,
Knowing you're my angel, with love forever true.
So don't ever forget me, and please stay by my side,
I know other's need you too, you were the perfect guide.
Please come back, I miss you so, I need you here so much,
at least in some way let me know that we will keep in touch.
A part of me is missing now, with out you listening
But at least I know that where you are, your crown is glistening.
So always know I miss you so, and how I really yearn,
to hear you say you're not really gone, and that you will return.
